San Cristobal De La Habana Cigars
San Cristóbal de la Habana is a newer brand, created in 1999. Although a brand with this name existed prior to the revolution, the new brand is not related to it. “San Cristóbal de la Habana” was the historic name for the city of Havana.
It is classified by Habanos SA in their Other group of Portfolio brands. It was previously considered a Niche brand.
The original 1999 release cigars were named after forts that protected old Havana in the Spanish Colonial days. Newer cigars are also named after ancient streets in old Havana.
The range comprises light to medium-strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region.
